We are looking for a Part Qualified Accountant

Simpson Wreford LLP is looking for a part qualified accountant to join our growing and proactive accounts practice. If you have at least 2 years’ experience in practice and are comfortable drafting statutory limited company accounts, then we would love to hear from you.

Experience required:

• 2 years’ experience in an accounts practice.
• Capable of drafting statutory accounts ready for managers review.
• Ideally AAT qualified (finishing AAT level 4 will be considered)
• Minimum 6/B grade in GCSE Mathematics or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Be able to work in a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must have full right to work and remain in UK.

Job Role:

• Statutory accounts preparation for limited companies.
• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, charities and LLP’s.
• Preparation and review of VAT returns.
• Prepare regular management accounts.
• Assist senior members of the team with audit and assurance work.
• Liaising with clients and working with clients at their premises.
• Supervising and assisting junior members of staff.
• Use Excel and accounting packages such as Sage, QuickBooks and Xero.
